From Fishermans Wharf, take the Harborwalk which runs through Punta Gorda Linear Park into the downtown area and along the Historic Florida Southern Railroad all the way back to Laishley Park.
Punta Gorda Fl is also home to a number of diverse museums; Muscle Car City Museum, the Military Heritage Museum, Blanchard House Museum, Punta Gorda History Park, A.C Freeman House and the Punta Gorda Train Depot. For the nature lover there is no shortage of things to do; catch the sunset at Ponce De Leon Park, birdwatch at the Peace River Wildlife Center or hike the 3.5 miles of trails through the Alligator Creek Preserve.
